Orgil Luvsantseren joined Oyu Tolgoi in October 2016 as General Manager, External Affairs and Communications.
Prior to Oyu Tolgoi, Ambassador Orgil served as senior official for the 11th Summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting held in Mongolia in July 2016.
Ambassador Orgil has a broad government and business experience and is a former Ambassador to Switzerland and a Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations in Geneva and the World Trade Organization.
In 2008 and 2009, he advised the President of Mongolia on foreign policy, foreign investment, national security and public relations. In 1990s he worked for the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Tajikistan and joined the Mongolian diplomatic service in 1986.
Ambassador Orgil graduated the Moscow Institute of International Relations and holds a master degree from the Elliot School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.
