Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - Oyu Tolgoi LLC and Erdenet Mining Corporation today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together for the further development of health, safety, environment and community (HSEC) standards and practices within the Mongolian mining industry.
The MoU lays the groundwork for the two companies to share experience, expertise, and local knowledge focused on developing greater awareness of HSEC issues; educating on best practices; and help build greater capability in these areas across the Mongolian mining community.

The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Parliament Z.Enkhbold, Economic advisor to the Speaker D.Lkhagvasuren, Oyu Tolgoi Chairman G.Batsukh, Erdenes Oyu Tolgoi CEO D.Ganbold and senior executives of Erdenet Mining Corporation and Oyu Tolgoi LLC.
