Oyu Tolgoi LLC recently completed and submitted to the Government of Mongolia a five year training strategy and plan in which it indicates that it will have over 3,000 employees once the mine is operational in 2013.
An initial training programme has taken place in Dalanzadgad and Erdenet schools where 140 trainees have been enrolled to undergo training.
There is no current registration for traineeship at Oyu Tolgoi LLC.
Future enrolments are expected to commence in 2011 and public announcements regarding trainee positions will be made at that time.
