Oyu Tolgoi, Mongolia’s largest copper and gold mining company is conducting extensive exploration and project development in Mongolia. Oyu Tolgoi is registering up to 150 interested candidates to enrol in the following training courses. These courses align with the company’s future plan to prepare skilled trade workers and professionals for our mining and processing plant.

Requirements for the registration:

  • Open to Mongolian citizens
  • Completed secondary and upper education
  • Committed to study and obtaining a profession
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Oyu Tolgoi project
  • Excellent teamwork ability

Both males and females are encouraged to apply.


Selection process

  1. Selection committee will review and assess all the applicant’s materials. Those candidates who satisfy the requirements will be required to take an assessment test.
  2. Candidates who successfully pass the assessment test will be invited for an interview.

The selection process, including assessment tests and interviews will take place in:

  • August 15-17: Dornod Technological College
  • August 18 -20: Mongolian Korean Technical College/MONKOR/in Ulaanbaatar
  • August 22 – 24: Sh. Otgonbileg- Erdenet School of Technology   

All interested candidates should submit the following documents:

  • Filled out Oyu Tolgoi LLC Training application form (with 1 copy 3x4 size photo)
  • CV and Cover Letter (in English and Mongolian)
  • A copy of all Diplomas and Certificates (Notarised)
  • A copy of ID and Driving License (Notarised)
  • A copy of Social and Health Insurance Books (Notarised)
  • Reference or Recommendation Letters from current and/or previous employer or school
  • Reference letter for permanent place of domicile from governor
